Subject: (He was both relieved and sadly disappointed when she turned away again, but he shifted back against her without thought, tugging her closer to him and closing his eyes as he pressed his face to the back of her neck. His voice was a deep bass that rumbledin his chest when he spoke in a low voice.) Why are you so nervous? (He asked, as usual getting right to the point, not bothering asking her simple questions.. when Remy McLean spoke it wasn't just to have his voice heard. In fact, he had been known to sit in the woods silently for days on training missions, even causing teammembers to think him missing or dead from lack of conversation with him.) I've read that you're a good speaker. (He offered truthfully, his fingers shiftig against her stomach to twine into her fingers, playing idly with them. He was feeling more and more like a man, and less and less like an agent.)

  • She pursed her lips at that, thinking it over before she spoke. "You've read about me?" She questioned softly, wondering what he had thought when he had first seen her name in print. She'd worked hard to get where she was and feeling like she hadn't gained his respect out of it was a harsh blow. She had expected him of all people to believe in her. Her body curved into his, fitting perfectly as ever, her head tucked beneath his chin and his arm wrapped securely around her midsection. This was more how she had pictured there reunion going, being back in his arms and quietly catching up with each other, not the snarky attitudes that they had been tossing at each other earlier.
