I was really fired up about that and no one seemed to care and I was determined to make someone care like I did.." She murmured softly, her voice quiet, barely a whisper. "I would try and get media attention and they would ask me if I had ever considered a modeling career. It drove me nuts." She let out a soft breath, her brow furrowed. "I finally realized that no one was listening to me so I decided to use what they wanted against them. I told the next person who approached me - who happened to be from the Chicago Tribune - that if he would print my article I would let him to an interview with a full photoshoot included and he could take credit for the pictures...so was born my modeling slash activist career."
