yeah, gas prices are outrageous, but the band
is auditioning for a new lead singer. i knew
the drummer quit, but apparently brett the singer
left as well. they have a version of hemmorhage
without vocals on the site, so i was singing along
with it. the cat who sang it on american idol ain't
nuttin on me! ha!;) i wouldn't say i sounded great,
but not bad for an old dude. rob, maybe you should give
a go? :) y'all don't flame on me too much for liking fuel,
but their second album came at a time when i could relate
with it's lyrics. their live shows were kinda cheesy, but
energetic.

Wonder if I could try - I kinda sound just like the sister from ... shit can't remember..."What's going on? And I say haaayyyy yay ya ya ya." Except my voice flutters. "25 years and my life is still trying to ...something...great big hill of hope for a destination n nnn." See, you totally hear it right? LOL! j/k

But really, I think that Chris guy just rocks on American Idol (except he really let me down on Queen night). I expect to see him fronting a band at some point. If you did better, than I hope you will try too! No such thing as an "old dude" unless you make yourself that way.

I kinda liked Fuel. Didn't know they split. :(

Do you know how many girls you can pick up karoke-ing whether or not you have a voice? Balls, man, it's all balls. You can do it. Don't be shy! If I didn't have an awful voice, I'd sing all the time! :)

Wait, they had a Queen night on American Idol? That's cool. I just hope people did't butcher the songs, though.

They did. Some of them didn't do so well. If you can sing anything Queen did, you're a hellova singer - so yeah - it was a good night. I wasn't sure how my favorite girl would do - but she was like a very young Tina Turner up there just kicking ass. The other girl that's not Kelli Pickler did a pretty good job of Who Wants To Live Forever that I liked (but that's because I was a Highlander junkie). Anyhow - back to your regularly scheduled post.
