i know an ugly nicole! but only one.

i don't know if i have any "this name tends to be this way" but i have certain letters.

i have loved a disproportionate number of boys whose names start with an A. what's funny to me about that is when i wrote a lot of short stories as a teenager and early twentysomething, an equally disproportionate number of characters, male and female, had A names. sometimes i even had to change some so a story wouldn't be too confusing with an amanda, an andrea, an arden and an andrew. science fiction stories were even worse, i wanted to name the people avia, adria, and so on. hmm, i said "boys" in that first sentence, but come to think of it, the girl i had a crush on in college was named angie.

the runner-up letter for people i've loved (and sometimes just the people i've been surrounded with) is J. and that would also be the runner up story-wise. i had couples like andrea and justin very frequently appear in my stories.

C & L would probably be next on both accounts.

even maynard's name, i love it for all the As. i guess it goes back to the whole seeing letters as colors thing.

With the 'doesn't apply to anyone here' exclusion, guys who use the name Robert tend to be pricks. If they call themselves Rob, Bob etc. they're probably ok.

I like 'K' names, particularly for pets.
