Congrats on the first win, Claus!
When I opened Peters mail with the Congrats to Player 3 - "Frontier Kingdom" Claus Lehmann for winning the game!"" message I was flabbergasted. Was this some kind of failure in Peters programming? Were all 4 remaining battle stations destroyed in turn 15 (impossible)? And then I read the message about winning with 15% of the planets AND 5 million points. If I ever read this rule, I must have forgotten it, long ago in the 20th century ;-) As long as I am playing the game, no one ever won with this rule, so we have to congratulate you double :-)
Brian and I already figured it out that you were the planet leader, but we thought there would still be time to stop you and prepare an attack. Looking at my destroyed ships in my action report, you already anticipated that. And yep, we noticed you missed your turn, but we thought it was a mail failure. I'm used to plan my holidays around my Darkness turns :-)
Until next time!
