Patrick,
I'm pleased you and the others enjoyed them so much. Mrs Lawson handed me a couple of bags of dried apples about an hour before you arrived and said "Do something with them." With a bit of raw sugar and fresh ground cinnimon, what was first intended to be pie filling went to a much better cause for certain! My particular favorite moment was when the gent took the empty plate from me and drank down the juice.

Brooke and I thoroughly enjoyed dinner with you all on Sunday evening. I don't think that hotel will ever be the same with all of us in such a filthy mess and requesting extra soap!

You were all such a joy and I look forward to seeing you again soon. When you chance into Venice (California) give us a shout!
