Nothing wrong with a fellow wanting to de farb their rifle, but as I told a fellow on another message board who was worried about his hat, I reckon no one will be too concerned about hats and defarbed drawers, or anything else about half way through the event. Be in shape. Bring a good attitude, and get that rifle defarbed when you got the $$$ to do so.
