Experience in the War of the Great Rebellion, by Edmund Newsome. Reprint of the second edition, revised, 1984. Hardbound, includes full-name index. 303 pages, $10.00.

I am contacting the Jackson Illinois Historical Society to see how many of the above 81st Illinois Regimentals remain from the second printing. Newsome was a member of Co B and originally wrote the book printed in 1880. Stay tuned. At $10 is a pretty good deal.
