Isn't Miss AL's wardrobe usually featured on AL.com the weekend before the pageant? Anybody know if it has been posted or not? I didn't see it. :(

It is in the paper, but is not online yet. Was told it would be posted later today. From what I can from her moms post on FB her EG is white sparkly lace with a sweetheart neckline, Typical Ann gown.

Thanks for the info. I'll keep an eye out for it. EG sounds pretty simple, but I think that may benefit Meg. Her state gown was white and simple, too.

It is white, has lace, AB stoning, and a slit up the front.

The location, sunlight, and photography makes it really difficult to see the details of the gown in the newspaper.

It is a gown. Not necessarily her competition. Meg took multiple gowns with her.

I heard her actual competition gown is not featured in the news article.

That was my understanding of how it will go down as well. Northington gown for prelim, per Miss A contract, then Sherri Hill gowns for finalists.

I was thinking Sherri Hill designed gowns and sponsored them like Tony Bowls did last year is that not correct? And I am glad her gown wasn't photographed, keep it under wraps until competition. This is not Miss Corn Shucker it is Miss America surprise us onstage with something unseen already.

Here's the link on al.com. I love the butterfly costume for the Show Me Your Shoes parade. Can't wait to see her actual competition gown. Hope it is breathtaking! Ann has done it before....maybe she'll do it again for Meg!

All I know is Meg was involved in selecting every single thing she is wearing for competition and the dinners and other things they do. She loves her wardrobe and said her gown is exactly what she dreamed of wearing. Meg does not beat around the bush. She must love it.

I think the coral gown in the feature looks great on her but the white one should have left the "bugle beads" off in my opinion.

I too hate the bugle beads. I love the coral and it was youthful and stylish.

The coral two piece is fantastic. The beads hanging off the shoulders of the white lace gown are too "saloon girlish". I do think that Meg can carry most anything off. She is such a natural beauty. The butterfly costume is perfect.

Looking forward to seeing her competition gown. Overall. I noticed they seem to feature less outfits than they usually do in the past. However, I pretty much liked all of her outfits other than the red and black suit...everything was youthful and then that just looked out of place. Even the white dress was great....but yeah, take the bugle beads off....they look really 80's.
