Subject: Survival in the wild?

I live in Denver Colorado. I have a pair of ringneck doves visiting my backyard every day. One is tame enough to eat out of our hands, the other is wary of humans. I'm worried they can't survive in the open - especially when winter comes. Can anyone tell me if they will make it through a Colorado winter if left outside? Do they have a migration instinct, and maybe will go south? I would greatly appreciate any advice, as they are the sweetest little birds ever, and I worry about them. I'm not great at bulletin boards, so if you could send advice to davec777@ msn.com, I would really appreciate it.
Thanks-
Dave Cunningham
