Keep in mind that last year in South Dakota the ASA world just in the 16's and 18's had over 50 teams combined that tells me slowpitch is still alive and well . I really believe that if the coaches would take the world as a really special time (for there kids) to play against new faces rather than focusing on if I can't win the world why play attitude ? I remember back in the early 90's when you had to break your back and bankroll just to qualify for the world. Nothing should be taken for granted. Best of Luck to all who play this season and remember the best thing your kids can wear on the field is a smile .
