 女孩坐在樹下，夢見故事的開始。在夢裡，鳥兒飛過森林，跟樹說了關於金翅膀的事。

「金翅膀，金翅膀，
你是多麼美麗，多麼美麗啊！
親愛的朋友，你在想什麼？」

樹沒有回答。這個時候，鳥兒才記起樹原來是沒有記憶的。可是，鳥並不知道，樹早已經把忘記的都放進女孩的夢裡去了。
然後，女孩坐在樹下，夢見故事的開始。
