Currency on planet Mongo

Unbeknownst to many, word has it that the long running currency on Mongo, the "Mingol" may change a bit. Some say the currency was..iffy in that it simply took the form of IOUs handwritten on slips of paper-like material, sometimes using invisible ink! A new, more formal, standardized, indelible currency bill is supposedly being considered.

It may be printed on quality yellow paper with the value, still in Mingols, indicated. It will have Emperor Ming in a circle at the front center, and both sides will have depictions from the various kingdoms, the oracle, dragons, rocketships, the palace, tunnel views, and more icons. The High Priest may also be shown with the gong.

The general populace of Mongo is welcome to submit ideas for the new currency. (It's backed by rare mineral deposits on Mongo.) Those with winning ideas may receive a bobble head from a kingdom. Some may receive a draft of the new Mingol suitable for framing. Rush your ideas in, since promotional supplies will be limited in a drawing on Mongo. Winners must claim in person. Note: Sonja may participate in judging. Tarnak may be transported from Mars to assist, and possibly the leading Zugg from Saturn. Suggestions for alternative judges also welcome.

Emperor Ming's image front and center is, of course, most appropriate for the redesigned Mingol. A picture of Tao on the back, or perhaps the Emperor's Palace (as suggested above) or the epic skyline of Mingol City.

Yes, the High Priest with the gong, or standing in front of Tao, are feasible options. And the likeness of Officer/Captain Torch might be included somewhere as well.

Yes, Yes....I especially like that last idea.

Coincidentally, I have fast-tracked paperwork to promote Sgt. Tim to the rank of.....Captain. We'll still have to wait a bit, though things should move swifter and smoothly, unless something really negative turns up.

Preliminary congratulations are in order.
