Being the type who enjoyed the shenanigans of boisterous King Vultan (and those humorous Orso and shadow puppet moments) I kind of enjoyed Ming's surprise visit to the sky city to retrieve his daughter Aura, and prisoners FG/friends including Dale of course. On his arrival, Ming is announced and Vultan indicates he would have prepared a feast had he known of Ming's visit.

Emperor Ming indicates>> I do not dine with unruly subjects. This is but one of perhaps dozens of classic Ming comments through the trilogy. Many others, but this and his iconic "heh, heh" always stands out for me.

"The Universe? I am the Universe!"

His classic utterance at the climax of Flash Gordon Conquers the Universe is as iconic among FG fans as "There's no place like home.." is among Wizard of Oz aficionados.

And as Sergeant Time and I often say, "There's no place like Mongo!"

Ming: "Get my daughter out of there!!"

If you look, Charlie redubbed the line, as his mouth doesn't match the dialogue.
