Having devoted most of my life to the service of our noble leader, Flash Gordon, it is utterly impossible for me to name a favorite moment for all of my time with Flash has been worthy and valuable to the universe.

That said, there are some outstanding moments such as Flash forgiving my reckless endangerment of his life in the Arena of Death and meeting Flash for the first time when those vile Hawk Men slipped away with Dale.

On a more personal level a moment that was poignant and terrifying at almost the same moment had to be saying goodbye to Flash and the others in FG '36 and seconds later discovering that the High Priest had secreted the bomb on board Zarkov's ship. ( I actually enjoyed choking that murderous agent of Ming's!)

An ignoble moment that I like to ignore was my tumbling into the Forest Kingdom's Death Cell in "Mars" but it was the only way I could get to Flash. My dignity suffered but I once again helped Flash.

Knowing Flash has given my life meaning.

I can't add much to Barin's fine comments regarding his favorite scenes featuring him with Flash Gordon. I agree that it's a poignant moment in the final chapter of FG '36 when Flash says his goodbyes to the noble Prince Barin, also bidding farewell to Thun, Vultan and Aura.

Hey! Barin...this is Officer Torch. Again, you've upset Emperor Ming. He is now approaching, and will order me to send you what could be a terse memo. Uh, oh, here he comes.

Memo

To: Barin
From: Ming
Re: Refresher Course, Emperor Subordinates 101

Barin, you fool...it is time you report at once to The High Priest for retraining. As I speak, while Torch types this using the televisor keyboard, my beloved daughter, your wife, Princess Aura is crying, upset and arbitrarily using a ray gun in the stun mode on my subjects. (Heh, she may be practicing in wait for your return.)

Allow me to point out some things....Flash Gordon is NOT your leader, I, Ming the Merciless am, as well as being your father in law. Next...be advised those drops of forgetfulness may have had some lingering effect, since it was Vultan who tried to choke The High Priest, but survived the ordeal. You may need an antidote. Finally, Princess Aura demands to know why knowing Flash has given your life meaning...she thought knowing her would do so. Heh, and you did make a fool of yourself in the arena, also falling into that death cell cave head first. Heh, heh, don't tell me you were using your head...or were you.

You may surrender to the captain of the palace guard...I only spare you for now for Aura's sake. Have you anything to say in response to this memo?

PS
Apparently, a Sergeant Tim sides with you, and there is a warrant out to question him. I will ponder suitable corrective measures later. Perhaps he should accompany you to the palace. Oh, Aura has set up a watch post at the palace gate....heh, suggest you wear armor.
