Seems to be confusion or cheat ending between Chap 14 and 15. At end of 14, Ming takes Flash at gunpoint thru door behind what was Azura's throne. (Ming was sitting there and Zandar slipped him a ray gun.) After door closes, we hear a sound, maybe a ray gun, but perhaps something else. Anyhow, Dale, Barin, some Martians rush toward the closed door. Dale says they'll kill or killed Flash?? Barin shows deep sorrow. I'm not certain what she said on my copies. (Wish FG dvds had captioning or subtitles if scripts were available.)

At beginning Chap 15, we see Flash, Ming, Tarnak, and Zandar in that small room where Ming took Flash at end of Chap 14. Flash is a few feet away from Ming who is looking at trap door, and Flash uses his hand to knock off some light on wall. Then, there's a scuffle between Flash and Zandar, and Tarnak takes Ming out another door. Things happened quickly. (Even with dvds, going back and forth to check can still result in iffyness.) Dunno how to categorize this one..maybe somewhere between cheat and just confusing.
