Subject: FAQ and Guidelines for Flash Gordon members


Just so you know, anyone who is a fan of Flash Gordon can discuss anything that relates to the space serials, characters, situations, storylines, quotes, sound effects, goofs & continuity errors, music, visual effects and so on.

Discussion of Raymond's comic strip is welcome. This includes the history and evolution of the characters and storylines, new additions to the strip and anything else from 1934 to present.

The subject of Buck Rogers, from the 1939 serial to the 70's TV-show and the comic strip is another subject worth discussing. Memorabilia, too. Any tie-ins with George Lucas and Star Wars is included. Universal horror films, drama films, and serials made in the 30's and 40's is included also.

For example, sound effects that you hear in Flash Gordon and Buck Rogers was initially used in many of them and tracked over in the sound mix in the space serials. Actors who appeared in these films and also appeared in Flash Gordon and Rogers is welcome. Even tie-ins with The Three Stooges movie shorts ( ex; Ted Lorch and Charles Middleton in "Spook Louder" ). Those who wish discussion of Flash Gordon 1980 are welcome, too.

History and discussion of memorabilia and collectables for those who want to share knowledge of them. Links to Ebay or Amazon to those interested is welcome. While I'm on the subject of links, any that relate to FG and Rogers are welcome to be posted on the forum.

Memories of the old Flash Gordon board are welcome to be shared/discussed here by those who want to. Discussions about the cast who appeared in the Universal space serials is welcome and other films they appeared is up for discussion, too. That's it. Simple and easy for anyone. Be cool and enjoy!
