The final scenes in Mars sans Hapgood. Was he arrested for stowing aboard the rocketship?

Happy was arrested upon setting foot back on earth for trespass and theft of service (not paying his way to Mars) but charges were immediately dropped in the interests of justice. His career at the New York Dispatch was a point of pride for the newspaper.

At the National Flash Gordon Memorial in Washington, his likeness is up there with the others.
