Conquers the Universe

Ming: "Whatever means Zarkov has of extinguishing our projectiles, must be carried to the spot of conflagration. Information as to location must come from Barin's laboratory. Now, you are to proceed at once to Arboria, destroy Prince Barin's radio station, thus preventing these messages from being sent."

If there were ever a question about FG that gets me going it's got to be this! There are just dozens of great quotes by the many characters in the series. Where do you even start?

Ming's response to Captain Suden, "Are you GOING to obey?" is one of my absolute favorites, filled with every ounce of anger and threat that our beloved Emperor could muster-and that's a lot! It's absolutely priceless! Right up there next to it has got to be Ming's comment about Barin and Flash attempting to save the manacled Zarkov, "They have chosen their own death!", followed by demonic laughter.

In a different vein we have the pathos of Happy Hapgood lamenting his fall from on high, "And just to think I used to be the star reporter on the New York Dispatch and here I am trying to dig myself out of a hole in the ground on Mars". Who hasn't felt like that at times? I certainly have.

I could go on and on-and I'd love to but let's hear from other Flash Gordon warriors on this site.

Prince Barin
