She glanced over her shoulder at him, pausing the knife so she wouldn't hurt herself. "Well, it's not like you aren't going to be there to help me, between the two of us we should be able to handle a puppy and a baby, right?" She looked back to the pineapple, cutting again before she realized that the room was quiet and she thought over what she had just said. She looked over her shoulder at him indignantly, as if he had made her slip up but well, the look on his face as he watched her made her smile a little and her shoulders relax from the tenseness they'd had before. She managed to finally get a little piece of pineapple off and popped it into her mouth, moaning softly in satisfaction. The small taste only made her craving grow and she started hacking away at the pineapple again to get more of the fruit out so she could eat it. In all honesty, she would admit it to anyone, Kyrian had been amazing throughout her pregnancy. He had been there at her beck and call and had also gotten her anything she craved and that had been a lot. He'd put up with her stubborness and her need to stay busy even when he wanted her to rest and that was more than she could say for anyone else. She loved him, that was really all there was to it. She smiled a little at Haylie when she spoke, knowing the other girl didn't realize what she had said until it was to late to take it back. She grinned again, leaning her head back against Remy's shoulder and tipping it so she could place a kiss to his jaw. As usual,her fingers found his wedding band and she absently spun it on his finger as she watched everyone around them and then looked down at his hand protectively splayed over her stomach, they still had an announcement to make. "Don't forget to ask Kyr to take Chase tonight.." She murmured softly to her husband.
