(His head tipped as she blinked away her tears, not wanting her to shut up on him again and hoping against hope that perhaps something would change between them now. His greatest wish was that she would realize that she could trust him and come back into his life as fully and completely as she had been before his big mistake. As she started to gain her composure, he allowed her some space, knowing that she hated appearing weak and wouldn't want to think that he realized just how broken up she was. With his hands on her upper arms, he rubbed a little warmth into her, smiling at her comment on Skeeter.) Braden would never make it back if we sent Skeeter in.. (He quipped, his smirk a little lopsided as he tried to breath a little humor into the mix. He nodded at her next question, though his gaze shifted to the door to Remy and Shays as though he were debating something. Really he was just letting the way she had so simply said 'home' twist around in his mind before digesting it fully.) Yeah.. we can go.. I just need to let everyone know we are going.. (He said softly, still rubbing his hands over her upper arms and watching her with an almost Remy-like quietness to his gaze. At that moment all he was thinking about was taking care of her.. she had brought out that need in him and he would stop at nothing to be sure that she was safe, secure and comfortable. He leaned in to press a kiss to her forehead and then stepped back.) I'll make it quick.. (He said, slipping inside and going into his room to get a jacket and saying his goodbyes for them both before rejoining her in the hallway a few minutes later.) Ready? (He asked her, offering her the jacket and his hand.)
