Relief flooded her features when he walked in. Dirty, beaten, tired but all in one piece, her Kyr was there and now everything would be ok. Tears welled up in her eyes without her permission of course, as her arms came up around his neck when he leaned down to kiss her forehead. Keeping him close, she pressed her lips against his neck and took a shuddering breath, hugging him tightly as she spoke. "Tell them to wait until you got here..." She murmured softly, her eyes closing, long lashes fluttering against his skin. Her lips moved up over the bruises ever so gently and it was obvious that had she not been about to give birth she would have fussed over him. As it was, all she could do was brush kisses against the offended skin and then lower herself back down against the pillows, watching him with careful eyes. Her fingers tightened in his, not wanting to him to leave her side but aware that he needed to get scrubs on and all that. Squeezing his hand once more she let out a soft breath and gazed at him. "Hurry, I need you." The words were not ones that she offered very often, even more rarely than 'I love you'. She was, admittedly, getting past that though. She was now more openly admitting that she loved her boyfriend, despite their past. At times she even felt that they were stronger because of it. A low breath escaped her lips as she rested her head back, letting her eyes follow him for a moment before she forced a small smile. "You gotta be quick, cuz I already offered Remy your position in the room as long as he promised not to look at my Hoo-Haw." A laugh started but was cut off as another contraction hit, leaving her gasping for air and crying out at the same time. The doctor checked and stated they didn't have time to waste, signalling the nurses to wheel her into the other room.
