Os autores fazem um breve explanação sobre a origem dos dois termos e suas diferenças, inciando com "os termos Internet e Web têm sido tomados um pelo outro constantemente" (ARAÚJO; BIASI-RODRIGUES, 2005, p. 49). David Crystal (2001) também discorre sobre essa distinção em seu livro sobre a linguagem da Internet.

Li recentemente que o que está ocorrendo é que a Web está englobando a Internet, oferecendo serviços de e-mail, chat, blog, etc., de dentro dos sites disponíveis.

Como vocês vêm esse fenômeno?
