Realmente, o meio pelo qual a mensagem é transmitida influencia o gênero textual. Vejam, por exemplo, o 'chat', a velocidade com que se dão as trocas de turno, faz com que este gênero seja bastante informal e acabe por originar um léxico bastante específico. No caso do e-mail, as características do canal também influenciam o gênero, sendo as mensagens, geralmente, constituídas de textos mais breves, informais, etc.
Vocês concordam?
