No NHL team is stupid enough to not sign a player after one bad game, so don't get so high and mighty cuz you have no idea what you are talking about. The defense hung Shantz out to dry, as did the forwards. If the Petes had scored 7 goals, who would care that Shantz let in 6? He was the only reason the Petes got to play an extra day of hockey, without him they go 0-3.

As for the "neck guard," most goalies wear neck guards and don't shake their head like Shantz does. It's his thing. It's cute. Leave him alone.
