Hi Carol Lynn: Hope you’ll keep an eye on this board for at least a little while. I’d enjoy sharing thoughts and experiences on this topic with you, but I don’t want to abandon the anonymity of the forum for email – email is too close to face to face, and I’m afraid it would chill my ability to indulge my latent exhibitionism. This anonymity has allowed me to surprise even myself in some cases by describing things that I’m not sure I could say directly to anyone but my husband or my 2 or 3 closest girlfriends.

You’ve seen in my other posts that the aspect of douching that interests me the most is the male reaction to watching/participating. You touched on that in your first sentence, and I agree. In our case, hubby transits the full spectrum you describe – he starts out with a purely erotic arousal response as I get out my douche, and proceeds to respond to the obvious signs of my developing arousal by engaging in more and more caring effort to maximize my pleasure along with his. If we proceed to shower sex, then his actions could definitely qualify as foreplay – if we don’t, it’s still great fun for both of us.

Sorry about the divorce – as Gypsy Rose Lee has been quoted: “A hard man is good to find”. Solo satisfaction is better than nothing, but hope you hook up with a really good playmate and that it lasts.
