Barb: Nice post – I’m from an earlier era too, and recall seeing a douche nozzle like you describe shown in a mail order catalog. I don’t recall that it was much larger in diameter than the current douche nozzles provided with folding syringes, just longer. Perhaps there was also a larger one that I don’t recall. I can imagine that it must have been quite an experience as it went in that first time!

I’ve always been interested in sharing experiences with other women on the topic of douching, particularly experiences involving their husbands or BFs – I admit that reading accounts of how others interact at those times, plus recounting my own feelings and sensations involved in shower play with my husband, I find not only interesting, but erotically arousing. I don’t think that this interest of mine represents anything unusual about my orientation, as I’ve been enthusiastically hetero for as long as I’ve been aware of my sexuality, and certainly for the 26 years we’ve been married. I talk to hubby about these anonymous forum based exchanges, and he reads them as well. The arousal resulting from these exchanges with other women IS significantly different from that accompanying play with hubby – less intense, more diffuse and non specific. I love both kinds of sharing. I also describe to him my feelings and sensations involved in my occasional solo masturbation experiences that I described in my earlier message, which he finds fascinating. He says that on those occasions when we for one reason or another we can’t engage in our usual sexual encounters (as when he has to travel on his job), his masturbation is decidedly specific, typically involving sharp mental images of our having sex and/or our douching shower play.

Barb, how about sharing some details of your experiences, both solo and with your SO. I know I’ll find them fascinating. Bye, Amanda
