Eric is probably dating himself because in this age of the pill and the disposable douche I doubt as if very many women need to pack a bulb or a bag. It was not always that way and during my college years I never went away with my boyfriend without my bag. Nor for that matter did I go home for the holidays without

it because you never knew when you might want to use it. There was a period of time during my late teens when I had a diaphragm which was not the most user friendly birth control device ever invented. Sex could not be spontaneous because you either inserted the diaphragm before your date or brought both it and your tube of spermicidal jelly with you. If you and your guy wanted to have sex a second time, you had to insert more jelly. After several hours sleep you got up the next morning and you made yourself a douche, took half of it, removed the diaphragm, and then took the other half.
