Sharon: I agree that the teasing is another enjoyable part of our relationship, too. As to describing my approach as manipulative, I plead guilty! In fact, in situations such as you describe, I’ve come right out and teased him “you’re SO predictable!” when he displays an erection at the sight of me naked or getting out my douche syringe. Let’s face it, guys are ruled by their testosterone, which flares up to near full intensity as soon as they realize that we’re ready for sex, while it seems to me that most of us retain a bit cooler approach as we proceed toward getting our needs met. In my case, I reach the same level of intensity after we get a little farther along in what we’re doing.
