Hello to all in Christ.

I am asking that you get involved in a boycott/protest at the Oppidan Theater in Rockford IL. They are bringing in a "christian rock" group next week called ICHTHYIC JESUS FISH that have secular sounding music and really horrible, detrimental lyrics.

Here are but some of their perverted words:

�� peace looks good �

�� so good with one another in love and kindness

�� Lying down with the lamb� living together in friendship�

��Money and greed left behind� of no avail

��property and possessions shared, living the life of a real disciple �

�� caring for one another as we would care for Jesus

THIS IS ANTI-CAPITALIST ANTI-AMERICAN GARBAGE!

This "christian" rock group plays their distorted message for all to hear. If �christian rock" groups like this are allowed to come to our city and are not protested they will warp the minds of our children that we ourselves should be reaching. Instead of our message of Jesus they will be receiving the message of Jesus as viewed by those outside Evangelical Christianity. We can NOT allow this to take hold.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE consider getting involved and stopping this nonsense in our city before it turns into something much larger and harder to stop. These are OUR children who are going to be lured into going to shows like this.
