MEMBERS of METLAKATLA;

Thank you Metlakatlan for your vote of confidence in the primary elections, As I have said before, Members are our most important resource. If elected Mayor of Metlakatla, I promise that the doors will be open to all Members of Metlakatla. It is important that the Office of Mayor listens to the concerns and Interest of the Members.
These are some of the areas of interest that as a Candidate for Mayor I would like to see happen. I have confidence that with the help of the Members and the Council, we can achieve them.
1. To have at least Three Community Meetings per year with maximum participation of the Members.
2. To work with Members and the Council to insure that Members get the Ten Acreas as provided in our Constitution. I feel with ownership of these land in the hands of our Members, it can only benefit the Members financially and relive our reliance on Federal Monies.
3. To explore the possibility of a Local Industrial Trade School, with Members as Instructors.
4. To help the Development of a Bank that will be Owned and Operated by the Members.
5. To explore ways with Metlakatla Members and Council to restore confidence in the way Metlakatla Indian Community conducts its business.
6. To help insure that All Community Jobs are advertise.
