You saw Dhrea and Myunako's homes. Most of us kept places like that simply because they were less likely to be broken in to and we could use it as a symbol of our accomplishment. Homes here aren't easy to get- most people lived in the streets or at their jobs. It was all I could do to pay for my home on my salary.... Yuki made twice what I did, plus whatever he got by acting as a mercenary for the people here when they needed someone killed off. He was probably the richest person on this planet.
