Subject: 2012 Crowned Prince & Princess Charm Pageant-Super Saver`rate expires December 31

This is your child�s exclusive invitation to enter the 2012 Crowned Prince & Princess Charm Pageant�the premier natural pageant for ages three months to 27 years of age with a separate boys division up to eight years of age. This pageant is open to contestants across the country. Contestants may enter their age division and all six specialty awards before December 31 to qualify for the Super Saver rate for only $100.00. Before February 1st for $110.00 and after February 1st for $130.00.

The purpose of the Crowned Prince & Princess Charm Pageant is to seek out, encourage, and recognize the young girls and young men who will be tomorrow�s leaders. By helping each girl or boy appreciate his or her own worth as an individual and giving him or her immediate goals which he or she can successfully achieve, we strive to reinforce the teachings of his or her home, school and church.

To the parents and families of contestants in the pageant, the Crowned Prince & Princess Charm Pageant is also for you. Imagine the confidence, stage presence, and interview experience your daughter or son will gain. These invaluable opportunities will help her to pursue any career endeavor with confidence and ease.

Our system is considered natural, we do allow age� appropriate make-up, but do not allow flippers, wiglets or anything else that is artificial. This is a great starter pageant and gives contestants a lot of stage time. A rehearsal will be conducted on Friday, April 20 at around 7:00p.m. For contestants wishing to do so, they may attend the pageant workshop on Saturday, April 21, 2012. In many instances, this is the first pageant experience for most contestants. At every competition, I conduct a pageant orientation where parents and contestants alike can ask questions about the upcoming competitions.

As a former contestant, judge, coach, and now director, I would like to personally invite you to be a part of an exciting weekend of pageantry and splendor. Being in the industry for over 30 years, I decided to create this system seven years ago, because I felt there was a need for a system that fostered positive self-esteem and self-worth in young women and young men in today�s society.

I do hope that you will join us April 20-22, 2012 at the Capital Plaza Hotel in Frankfort, KY located at 405 Wilkinson Boulevard in the heart of the Capital City for a weekend of pageantry and splendor as your child will make lasting friendships and will have an enjoyable experience. We will crown a winner and four runners �up in each age division plus six specialty awards. The winners of each age division will receive huge crowns! Big trophies! Modeling Scholarships! Jewelry! Plus, the opportunity to be a Crowned Prince & Princess Charm Pageants for one year! All participants will receive a trophy for their participation.

Additionally, three Overall Supreme Winners, Novice Supreme, Overall Ad Sales Queen, Boys Supreme and a Pageantry Spirit Award Winner will be awarded. Last year, we added another fun part of competition with the Mommy and Me and Daddy and Me whereby parents competed onstage with their children and modeled formal wear with them. Winners received a silver tray. We also host a pizza party on Saturday night following the event where a winner of the third annual door decorating contest was announced..

Not every girl or boy gets a chance to participate in this pageant, but this is your special opportunity to be a part of the fun and excitement that the Crowned Prince & Princess Charm Pageant has to offer! All participants will receive the necessary training to successfully present themselves to the judges.

Scoring is based on a five-minute panel interview with the judges (three-minutes for contestants three years of age) (3 and up), formal wear and casual wear. Younger contestants will compete in onstage personality in lieu of interview. In addition, there are over 15 optional categories to choose from including�Derby Wear, Western Wear, 1980�s Wear just to name a few. Optional categories do not count in a contestant�s overall score but are a fun part of competition and are awarded in each age division. Age divisions are determined by a contestant�s date of birth as of January 1, 2012.

How you can be a part of the fun and excitement!
Upon receipt of your required application fee of $30 to be officially entered in the 2012 Crowned Prince & Princess Charm Pageant, within three weeks you will receive a detailed packet of information that includes: sample judges questions, pageant helpful hints, pageant agenda, detailed optional category information, copy of the 2011 official souvenir program book, copy of the 2011 Crowned Prince & Princess Charm Fall Newsletter and many more! This packet will assist you in your preparation for the upcoming pageant in April. You will be contacted by pageant staff from time to time about updates and events. We strive to give contestants the tools to assist them be as successful as they can in their pageantry endeavors and to achieve their goals and dreams. We are always available to answer any questions that you may have.

Entering is Easy!
Upon receipt of your application fee of $30.00 you will receive the official Crowned Prince & Princess Charm packet which includes schedule of events, sample interview questions that the judges may ask just to name a few. The pageant staff is instructed to only accept cash for the remaining balances during pageant weekend. Discounts are offered to returning contestants and those entering an additional friend or sibling. The balance to receive the super saver rate of $100 is due in the pageant office and must be postmarked by December 31. All other balances for Optionals and tickets etc. are due April 8, 2012.
