Subject: I agree that it is rude to say "hands down". Sometimes I think people put that remark just to start trouble. I know alot of boards will remove a post if it says "hands down" in it. I don't let it bother me when I see it posted, but it is quite rude. When I make my predictions they aren't necessarily based on who I think will win, but more whose photos I like best in the contest. Alot of times my predictions are right, and alot of times they are wrong. I do it for fun, I enjoy looking at all of the photos and seeing if the photos I like best will win.

  • In one of the above predictions someone predicted my granddaughter and used "hands down". As much as that might be a compliment and I appreciate it I feel it also opens her up to bashing. Sometimes I also think it is a way to discourage judges from picking a certain child. Not sure how it was meant for us. And may I add in no way do I ev (NT) -- No name, 11:15:43 07/02/06 Sun
