An e-mail I sent today to Senator Coburn, (Redneck, Oklahoma)

"Senator,
You've objected to the extension of unemployment benefits, using as justification that there's no plan to pay for them. So, back when G.W. Bush was funding his wars by off-the-books "supplementals," did you vote against those? After all. Bush put both wars on the nation's credit card, and asked for no sacrifices from the American people. Instead, a day after 9/11, he advised us to "go out and shop." FDR did not so advise the nation on Dec 8,1941."
