Oh, what a GOOD idea, Parisa! I so wish we had thought of things like that. Ah well, Inshalla, in the future.
Not meaning to be a downer, however, in my opinion we don't know if we will be to the Holy Lands again. I think of Ahmad, for whom the Tablet of Ahmad was written. He had one visit with Baha'u'llah, before He was in Akka. When Ahmad went to pilgrimage to Akka to see Him, Baha'u'llah sent him the Tablet, asking him to travel spreading His words, instead of continueing his pilgrimage to Him. Ahmad never saw Baha'u'llah again, even though he lived until 1905, living to be over 100 years of age, and teaching the whole time.
Our time spent on the Blessed and Sacred soil was a very special gift, to be treasured and held as sacred moments in our hearts. We cannot ever assume that we will be allowed the opportunity to pilgrimage again.
Of course, this is just my personal feeling.
I am so happy that you could go to Adrianople, Parisa! How thrilling to be able to add to your pilgrimage. Can you imagine how wonderful in the future when the homes of Baha'u'llah and the Bab well also be a part of the pilgrimage! WOW, what trip that will be for our children or grandchildren (or dare I hope, us?)
Much love,
Carrie
