Thanks Chezmere - and all who loved MikeyD ...
Thoughts about MikeyD
I'm sure there will be many more ( If I may share)
Mike was a very special man.

Brilliant, witty and unpretentious.
He would say, 'what you see is what you get' Anyone who met him, always had a nice comment about his easy manner
and his ability to talk about any subject.
He had bragging rights - unfortunately, I didn't know the extent of his sharp mind.
He was a little burned out about a year before he died then suddenly something clicked. He couldn't stop writing a
program for Microsoft and his co-workers in NC.
In some ways, I wish I wouldn't have listened to many things she said. The Microsoft people and Alan wanted
to continue his work. His mother said do not send them anything.
Everyone grieves in different ways - I wanted someone to take what he had almost finished and put it to good use.
I believe Mike would have wanted that.
I have a suit he wore when we were on a cruise...he looked like a million bucks.
His mom insisted he should wear jeans and a t-shirt. I regret listening to her because he really liked his suit when
we went out for special occasions.
Mike was a great cook, too.
He could make a pie (homemade crust using a rolling pin) And I'm talking about any pie you can imagine.
He was also great at making dinner. I usually did breakfast but he could put a dinner on the table you wouldn't believe.
Mike was very romantic - great voice! When we drove anywhere or listened to music at home, he would sing - look in my
eyes so lovingly. We seemed to share a special twinkle and smile with each other.
I dream about him - then wake up to to the reality.
He will always be so very special in my life - If you remember, or if I told you, he went to Destin FL to pick up
my dear friend, Fr. Carr - catholic priest. He took my car and I had a CD with a song that he loved.
I'll see if I can get it online - or something - It is still difficult to listen to.
Of course, Jay Jay knows and enjoys his taste in music - she's the one who came to mind - It's still hard to listen
to Leon Russell singing - the name escapes me - My song to you - I think.
Thanks for indulging me here and I know we all love our Mike - MikeyD
BTW his step dad, Richard died about a year ago. The last Father's Day, Mike wrote him the most beautiful note. Richard
appreciated it so much.
Mike always talked about his dad, Clyde (and mom Rita) and accepted Richard for the wonderful man he was.
I'm sure I'll have more to tell you - One more thing I'm grateful for is Mike told me he knew how much I loved him.

He certainly showed me what true love really is.
