At first I thought "Why would the old cast stay? How would an online company (vs ABC) afford to pay them?" But THEN I realized that when I watch TV online, I HAVE TO WATCH THE COMMERCIALS...you have no choice. When people watch soaps it is often DVR'd and you can FF the commercials. It may be they can actually make more money putting it straight online. This will be very interesting to see how it develops..... I want to see Kendall and Griff babies. They'd be cute. LOL

first, there's still a large portion of the US that doesnt have cable nor a DVR with no way to FF thru ads. present company included. I do this thing we used to do before DVR's - go to the bathroom or grab a snack during ads. *shudder*

why can't you FF thru commercials when watching online? Most of the TV I watch online has the commercials completely edited out or I just use my mouse to jump ahead. The only TV online that I had to watch the ads was abc.com shows because they are embedded into the sections of the video.

Wireless mice, keyboards and remotes for Windows media player are readily available for those to lazy to get up from the couch to reach the mouse.
