Subject: Finally got our power back. Lines have been down since Tuesday

We have been using the generator, which has been a life saver. We learned to take very quick showers. We came to appreciate all those restaurants with free Wifi since we couldn't use our computers at home. I am even looking forward to doing the laundry and cooking.

We are getting more snow now and they say to expect more accumulating snow on Monday. I must admit, I am getting a little tired of it now.

Glad you guys have power - I remember being out for 5 days a couple years back and it was painfully cold to go to the bathroom in the winter - 45 in there! Glad your generator kept things going! For us we didn't have one at the time (do now!) and just closed our sliding doors to the den and hung out in there all the time because it has a gas fireplace. Not pleasant- I can commiserate! We're still getting snow too; got about 4" last night/today and more tomorrow, and more this week. What a winter!
