Subject: A stolen turkey? Really?

Thanksgiving in PV was celebrated with a stolen turkey? Why? What a dumb ploy. Are we really supposed to believe that there were no stores selling turkeys in all of Pine Valley? And the solution was to steal one? I know it's only a soap, but why have characters celebrating a major holiday with something they stole? So unneccessary, so careless, so not amusing. For some reason, this really rubbed me the wrong way.
