Actually, I've been comparing Kindle with Nook for hubby's birthday, and am leaning towards a nook. I read various comparisons and reviews and what made me lean toward Nook was, once the battery dies on a Kindle you have to send it back to Amazon for replacement, you can't do it yourself. And from reviews on Amazon, they usually send you back a different one and not your original. The Nook you just take into your nearest B&N and they change the battery for you while you wait. Nook also has a feature where you can sit in store and have a cup of coffee and read any book in the store for free. (Not that my hubby will ever do that. LOL)

Katt has a Kindle tho, she can probably give you her review.

I rarely come across something I want to read that isn't available on Kindle!
