Subject: the mold men are coming out friday morning wish me luck

to gut the basement. it will take days to finish and an insane amount of money (insurance won't cover btw) ive sorted it out in my head nearly all the crap down there can go to dump. except my christmas ornaments that friends and family have given me every year for the last 35. and the dept 56 dickens village i've kept protected from biohazards. and the safe can't go. (no jewels or money in it, just VI family documents). and stuff that my dad left here, VERY cool stuff. and i don't do mornings; i'm gonna need a LOT of coffee.

OH, and my washing machine exploded last night. i was doing a load, watching tv and i heard a sound like a loud whistle like a bottle rocket. oh shit. the washer/dryer are right at the top of the basement stairs. the mold crew and the repairman will be gettin in each others way. cool. no spin. at tall. he said the spin dry failure could be one of 2 causes. one cause would be $100; the other would be junk it and buy a new one.

great.

Hope things go well. I'm glad you are getting the mold stuff taken care of, though.

My washing machine has only worked on one cycle for probably 5-7 years. As long as that one cycle works, I'll keep using it. I would love to have a new one, but that will wait until this one gives up the ghost.
