Subject: Confusing snow day around here

We have the One Call system that is supposed to notify us of important school info. Apparently One Call was down this morning.

Channel 7 says we are on a 2 hour delay. Channel 22 says we are on a 2 hour delay. Channel 2 says we are closed. Hmmm. Facebook kicks into action. Apparently lots of kids saw "closed" and went back to bed.

Channel 2 changes their site to say we are now on a delay instead of closed. Facebook and texting kick in to make sure everyone knows.

Finally, One Call sends a message to say we are on a delay.

Two minutes later, Channel 7 says we are closed and the other two still say delay.

School website says nothing. Lots of teachers trying to get the message out this morning. Ended up that we did close. They need to have a better system.
