I had a hysterectomy when I was 35, and I was in no way prepared for what was going to happen. I looked at my reproductive organs as just body parts. I ended up feeling like I had had a soul transplant for 3 years or so while I fiddled around with different HRTs. What ended up working best for me was a testosterone/estrogen combo. I have been happily HRT free for a dozen years now and I think that I am more happy, and free of hormones ruling my body.

I can see what the whisperer is saying about foot e. Sometimes we tend to project memories or feelings of other pets onto the ones we have now.

Hope you feel better soon.

I am feeling much more in control so that is good.

I took the leash today and boy did Foot E snarl at me, but he stopped. Took him for a car ride. Aly is having a tough time with it. When he gets into his snarling and we use the methods, he yelps and it is heart breaking, but we will get it.

lindalou - you are so very right, I have smothered Foot E because I thought mothering him would get him to the relationship I had with Padfooot. Different child, different relationship.
