Where to start. I think I'm going to start reading The Burnt House by Faye Kellerman. I wanted to get those best selling Girl With the Dragon Tattoo books but they haven't made them available for Canoodians yet - drat the cat!

Mine is the 2nd one and I love it. I JUST TODAY downloaded that 1,000 page Stephen King book for a trip I'm taking at the end of the month. That should last me awhile! :)
There's lots of free stuff you can get, Muppy. Classics and whatnot. Have fun!

You can sort by price and see all the free stuff. I got a lot of things like Little Women and Catcher in the Rye for free. Sometimes new authors put their stuff out there for free, too, to hook you! You know you can get magazines on there, too, right?

What genre are these books?
I really like Stephen King, Dean Koonz, Robin Cook, Nora Roberts and
ANY psychologoical thrillers that keep me on the edge of
my seat.....and a few harlequin's <3

but I have been putting it off. I love to have the feel of a book in my hands and dont know if I will like the feeling of a kindle. Unsatisfying. Did anyone else feel that way?

... and found it's just like holding a book. It's superbly easy to read and manage. I waited until they dropped the price. It's $100 or so less than what it used to be, if you buy the basic Kindle 3.
