Subject: Anyone? I have a sinus pain like you would not believe

Just on the right side, high on the cheek bone. The cheek bone & eye socket really hurt. I may be running a fever. It started three days ago, I woke up & it felt like someone hit me in the eye. Left side totally normal. What's crazy, it sometimes goes away, but this afternoon it is keeling me. My one ear hurts, thought it was my jaw but my teeth don't hurt. I tried icing it, bad move. Using mentolatum, still can't smell anything. Help!

Meanwhile, put a humidifier in your bedroom. Get it humid like a rain forest before you go to bed and that should help drain it and relieve some of the pain. Be sure to clean the humidifier really, really well every day so it doesn't spew out bacteria and make your infection worse.

[> [> Thanks friends -- chezmere, 09:38:57 09/19/10 Sun [1] (adsl-75-51-191-155.dsl.lsan03.sbcglobal.net/75.51.191.155)

Right after I posted, I got the chills, so I was old fashioned sick. So I used an old fashioned remedy, got liquored up, and slept for 12 hours.
When I first woke up, there was quite a bit of pain, but not nearly as bad. Two Advil, two coughdrops & two cups of coffee later, it feels manageable.

Thanks for the suggestions ...

Will encourage the sinuses to drain.

I was having so much stuffiness yesterday. Took some last night and feel better already.
