it was so hot (the stage was outdoors) that i kept pounding beers and couldn't even pee. just got *all swolled up.* seriously, it was so remarkable that so many people cared and loved that they drove 9-15 hours just to be here for a few hours, to pay respects. the love in the room was strong.

if you look real close at the end of the tv video, the drummer, is levon's nephew my boyfriend of the last 41 years (in my dreams!...all these long many years he's been faithful to his stupid wife dammmmit! lol jk) terry cagle. ha! a filmcrew from the U of A Library did a lot of interviews with windy's old friends, and i was sitting right behind the microphone guy during Terry's. He WINKED at me!!!!!! It's forever and ever in the video archives of terry WINKING AT ME. i'm a happy girl. tell Uncle Levon i said hi.
