Thanks for asking! Things have been a little hectic. He had a moderate stroke, but apparently the "lesser of the evils" of the strokes. (I don't remember which it was, but it was caused by high blood pressure, not a clot)

He is in great spirits and they are looking to move him soon from the hospital to a skilled nursing facility. He needs physical therapy to build up his left side again.

It has all been very very scary. My dad is 62 and needs to take better care of himself. I am hoping this is the kick in the pants that he needs to make some major lifestyle changes.

I really appreciate all of the RT messages and will keep ya'll updated.

I've been worried about all y'all...It is such a stressful thing to go through, but sounds like he's going to be fine.

Like you said, maybe this will be the 'hint' he needs to start getting fit? I know I'm in the same boat, and it's hard to get started after the long gradual time it took to get this way. Now he's got his start (healthy hospital food ha)....it'll be 'easier' to stick with it. yah, that's it. lol
