I due successi dell'Italia sono nati dal lavoro del mister Berbizier che ha costruito un grande gruppo. La considerzione è motivata dal fatto che dopo la grande vittoria in Scozia tutti pensavano che la squadra vincente venisse confermata. Invece sono stati inseriti nuovi giocatori tra i dubbi di molti, ma proprio questi giocatori inseriti sono stati tra i migliori col galles.
Il contratto di Berbizier scade al termine dei mondiali di novembre, più volte gli è stato offerto il rinnovo ma lui non ha ancora accettato. Come lippi ha costruito un grande gruppo, come lippi facilmente se ne andrà da vincente.
