We had a line on nice Birel R30 30mm rolling chassis out of Austin, Tx...currently owned by Austin Self. Unfortunately the deal fell through. My son is 13, 185lbs, 60" tall...and aint fat has driven just about everything we own and I need to channel this into good, proper competition and fun. Our plans were to get a good used chassis that would allow us to start off in Clone, get both of us up to speed with our local Kart club, driving, ..participating and then move up in class as he demonstrates the ability/desire to do so. We live in Houston....can come get it or ship for the right deal/price. All feedback valued! I am limiting my initial investment to $2000 to produce a race-ready Clone Kart. The original deal was $1500 for the roller leaving us $500 for a Clone.
